i. Upcoming events
1. Recess equipment:
-PTSO wants to buy a large
permanent soccer goal for playground. They will work with Mrs. Copenhaver to see where and what size. PTSO to also buy extra balls for the playground.
2. Love our Schools 1/31/26.
-Items on wish list to clean:
Shower grout (PTSO will see if we can have this professionally cleaned), clean outside tables, clean Mrs. A. Smith’s class, sanitize lockers, planter signs touchups and refills (we will move this item to Teacher Appreciation week).
3. Family Dance 2/20/26.
-Theme: Dancing through the decades.
-DJ and photo booth booked.
-Mandy will email Jenny to request booking a janitor.
-Mandy will email to book an officer.
-Tamara will try to coordinate a teacher dance and PTSO will fund anything they want to make or buy for that.
-Nikki to buy items to sell, face paints, and wristbands.
4. APEX 3/2-3/13/26.
-APEX possibly used for cafeteria refresh (Kim to price out all new cafeteria tables), upgrading and adding outdoor learning areas, and upgrading art tables.
-Mandy will ask email RoboRob to see when they can meet and will request an APEX kickoff for Flagpole Friday the week before APEX starts.
5. Donuts for grown ups 3/23/26.
-PTSO to purchase donuts and
water.
4. Open Floor
· CCV Soda Bar 1/8/26.
-Staff enjoyed. About 50 sodas were served.
· State 48 shirts.
-We are undecided on if we want to do pre orders for this year or next. Will revisit.
· State testing.
-Mints will be delivered to Mandy’s house this week.
· STEAM Night 4/23/26 5-7pm.
-PTSO will order and pay for an officer for the event.
-Food trucks: pizza, mac n cheese, and snow cones. PTSO will try to book one more food truck, possibly the fries guy.
