Update for transactions from 7/1/25 to 8/13/25:
-Expenses:

$5,000 check given to SV for shade structure (still being researched)

3. President/Vice President
a. Upcoming Restaurant Nights
-8/20/ 25 Handels
-9/26/25 Peter Piper Pizza (we will invite younger kids’ teachers to participate).
b. Penny Wars
-9/5- 9/11/25
-Each grade will have 2 jars (silver coins which are negative coins and pennies and dollars which are positive).
-Winning grade gets Tikki Ice and teachers get a lunch.
-Principal Lanese said she will include a summary of penny wars in her weekly newsletter.
4. Secretary
a. Trunk or Treat 10/26/25
-Free admission but we will have a table to admit with wristbands so we can make sure all attendees have a parent or guardian with them.
-Food trucks or snack and popcorn stations.
-Glow station
-Pumpkin painting station
-Face painting station
-PTSO will pay for a janitor to be present at the event for cleaning up and restroom access.
-Exploring prizes for Best Trunk.
-Trying to get sponsors but we may need some budget if we can’t get sponsors/ donations.
-We will have a sign up for volunteers to sign up for trunks that will go out one month prior to the event.
-We will start promoting on social media in early September.
5. Open Floor
a. Ideas to Promote Voting for Override
-Mail in ballots only
-Ballots due 11/4/25.
-There is a page on district website with factual information.
-We will hand out flyers about the override at Curriculum Night and we will provide information at Trunk or Treat too.
-PTSO will help promote voting based on factual information on social media.
