1. Call to Order

2. Treasurer Report-
a. Update
-Panda Express $327.39.
-Family Dance $1929.43.
b. Brittany IXL update?
Option 1: Renew as we currently have (4 subjects, K-8) $24,131.75.
Option 2: K-8, 4 subjects, 925 licenses $22,893.75.
Option 3: K-1 doesn’t use much. Giving 825 licenses to Grades 2-8, 4 subjects $20,418.75.
Option 4: Science and SS are used less. Grades 5, 8 to keep science plus math and ELA. Math and ELA for grades only for grades 2, 3, 4, 6, and 7 $16,968.75.
Action items: Brittany to reach out to teachers that option 4 may affect and report back.
3. President/Vice President
a. Family Dance Recap and discussion on future dance events
-Pros: attracted good crowd, theme, selling swag, we didn’t spend a lot cost-wise on concessions and neon swag, the DJ was amazing.
Room for improvement: scheduling our dates around other events, some kids coming without parents (solution: wristbands or stamps), price point (solution: room to increase slightly), clean up for janitorial staff (solution: buy janitorial staff dinner), concessions will need to be away from the entrance (solution: L shape tables closer to the bleachers), payment (solutions: get another square, set up a Zelle QR code).
b. Apex
i. Dates and event time update?
-Starts next week.
-Mandy will be there to video kick off for social media (March 3rd at 2pm).
ii. Volunteer Sign-up
-Brittany has the dates and will message the times to Mandy so that she can do volunteer sign up.
-Rob bought tshirts for PTSO board.
c. Upcoming Events
i. Restaurant Night and Spring Break
-Peter Piper Pizza 3/28.
-Spring Break Events upcoming from Mandy.
ii. Earth Day 4/22
-We will sell globes, bracelets and stickers.
-NJHS kids will sell at lunch.
iii. STEAM Night 4/24.
-Michelle to reach out to Lego shop to see if we can get someone to make SV Legos again.
-Stand up cornhole.
-STEAM minute to win it games.
-Use wheel spinner.
4. Open Floor
-Penny Wars.
-Teacher survey to see what teachers really want PTSO to put money into (Holiday party, teacher lunches, etc.).
